I`ve been corresponding with a woman in England about some genealogy, we thought we might have a common ancestor, but haven`t identified him or her yet. However, she had ordered a marriage certificate for someone who turned out to my ancestor and not hers. I offered to pay her for it, and she declined and is sending it to me gratis.
I thought that was a generous and sweet thing to do. Makes me feel happy.
