Thank You

I was in a bit of a snit this morning, having received an unfavourable response from my head office over a small request, when one of my builders dropped by to see me. He handed me an envelope and said "merry christmas, happy new year and all that". I opened the card and it was a lovely thank you card. Inside was a little gift...

Never in my ten years at this company has a builder ever given me anything, not a card, not a thank you, nada. I've sent them millions of dollars worth of business over the years and never expected anything in return. After all, I need them to build my clients' dream homes, or I don't get paid!

It was a lovely surprise and I was very touched.
